 Hello Punchians, In this blog, we are going to cover the cost of service charges for owning a Tata Punch. First Free Service: Cost Nill If No Top Ups Done or any add-on services opted those are chargeable. During the inspection they found out engine oil was less so they did top up for engine oil which is chargeable by TMASC (Tata Motors Authorized Service Center). Second Free Service: Cost Nill If No Top Ups Done or any add-on services are opted those are chargeable. In the Second service, I opted for Add On service for Underboady 3M Anti Rust Coating which was chargeable by the TMASC (Tata Motors Authorized Service Center). Third Free Service: Cost Nill Only If AMC Opted or Pay for the charges. The third service is also called the major service. It is advisable to Buy AMC After Third Service but you may lose some benefits. They will ask you to buy AMC which costs Rs.4,399/- in my case for 1 year.  Hello Puncians, Today we are going to break down how cost effective it is to do self maintenance of the Tata Punch which will consist of Minor and Major Services. Before starting we will be requiring a bunch of products below are the listed items as recommended in the owner's manuals :  Pre Mix 60-40 Concentrated Blue Coolant OEM (Top Up if required) DOT 4 brake fluid. (Top Up if required) Battery Water. (Top Up if required) Washer Fluid. (Top Up if required) Engine Oil 3.5L 0W-20 (Top Up if required) NGK Spark Plugs Air Filter. AC Filter. Minor Service :  Coolant - Check the level of the coolant reservoir if it's below the desired MAX level then refill it and maintain the levels. You get 3 Free Services when you buy the Tata Punch which is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After that in the second year, there will be minor and major services i.e. 2 services in a year with an interval of 6 months or depending on your kms follow the schedule maintenance cycle post for more information  click here . 4th service onwards it comes under paid service or you buy AMC with some benefits. What if I don't want to buy AMC and do servicing from outside will it impact my warranty & resale value. Your Punch comes with two years standard warranty if your mfg date is 2021 or 2022 and if your mgs is 2023 you get 3 years of standard warranty.  Hello Punchians, As you know monsoon has started and your car starts facing issues related to visibility, wiper blade issues and rainwater being collected into the dicky boot. So how to drain that water. As demonstrated in the above video here are the steps to drain the collected rainwater from the dicky boot. Open the dicky boot. remove the carpet board. remove the stepney and spare tyre. now access the black plug and drain the water also make sure it's dry and clean otherwise it will give a foul smell. now put back everything and enjoy your drive.
