Tata Punch RH Rear Boot Light Installation

 Hello Punchians, 

The rear boot light is very weak and it's only available on the left side which sometimes blocks the throw on the right side when you keep luggage. So today I am going to install the same exact left boot light to the right side boot light using scotch locks and taking the parallel connection from the left boot light.

Parts Required : 

  1. OEM Boot Light.
  2. Osram T10 LED Bulb.
  3. 1.5 Gauge wire.
  4. Boot Lamp Connector.(WhatsApp Vineet)
  5. Scotch Locks
Wiring Diagram : 
  1. Red Denotes Negative and Green Denoted Positive.

Connector : 


Installation Steps :
  1. Take two 10 meters wires one in Red color and one in green then split it into half 5 Meter Red and 5 Meter Green.
  2. Take 2 Scotch locks as the left boot lamp will have two wires use one Scotch lock and crimp it with Red wire do the same for another wire with green.
  3. Now route the wires from the headliners and bring them into the right side boot.
  4. Now make a marking on the right boot with a marker or pencil and do the cut out with a sharp cutter then just plug it with the right boot lamp if some gap appears fill it with 3M tape make a small cut and file it to make it big.
Total Cost : 
  1. 10-meter wire Rs.70.
  2. Boot Lamp Rs.175
  3. Scotch Locks Rs.20 per pair.
  4. Osram T10 LED Bulb Rs.350 Pair. (If you want to replace Halogen bulb with LED)
