Tata Punch Smart Key Battery Replacement

Hello Punchians,

Today i am going to replace my smart key battery as it has lasted for more than three years and now it is an indication that the battery is low on MID.
Understanding the battery used in Tata smart key is a CR2032 lithium coin-based battery which is 3V this type of battery is called coin based or CMOS battery and is generally used in toys or in the motherboard of PC.

Note: If you do the key replacement from the service center it will cost you 300 to 400 Ruppes and DIY will cost you only 30 Ruppes.

How to check that your battery is low or needs replacement :

1. It will show you a message on MID.

2, The smart key red LED will blink continuously, alerting you to replace the battery.

Tata Punch Service History Cost From Tata Authorized Service Center.

Hello Punchians, In this blog, we are going to cover the cost of service charges for owning a Tata Punch. First Free Service: Cost Nill If No Top Ups Done or any add-on services opted those are chargeable. During the inspection they found out engine oil was less so they did top up for engine oil which is chargeable by TMASC (Tata Motors Authorized Service Center). Second Free Service: Cost Nill If No Top Ups Done or any add-on services are opted those are chargeable. In the Second service, I opted for Add On service for Underboady 3M Anti Rust Coating which was chargeable by the TMASC (Tata Motors Authorized Service Center). Third Free Service: Cost Nill Only If AMC Opted or Pay for the charges. The third service is also called the major service.
